How To Conceal Dark Circles Under Eyes With Makeup
As you can see right now, I have no makeup on. I do not have dark circles, but I do have very deep, deep creases under my eyes. I’m going to do it step by step very quickly. All you need to do this is three simple things that most likely you have.
Now, the first thing you want to do to decrease the look of dark circles under your eyes — and this is all going to be a makeup tutorial. So, we’re going to use a little bit of makeup, not too much, we’re not going to cake it on.
We’re going to use a moisturizer, which its very, very important to moisturize, we all know that. My very favorite thing in the world to moisturize with is bam! Petroleum Jelly Vaseline. We’re going to take just a little bit of Vaseline, just a touch, you’re not going to overwhelm your eyes with Vaseline and we are just going to rub it in to where the creases are.
Now that we’ve rubbed that in, we’re nice and moisturized. We are going to use that basically as a primer to our makeup. We are going to find a makeup that matches our skin tone. I adore this makeup by Tarte. It’s called Amazonian Clay. It is a full coverage makeup. It is really, really great. It’s really pretty. It comes with a nice kabuki brush.
Now that our Vaseline has set in, like I said, just a little bit of Vaseline has set in, we are going to take our liquid foundation, just a little bit, blend it under our eyes. And you don’t have to blend too much, just kind of jot it in wherever you see a crevice or crease or darkness.
Then the next step is we are going to cover it with powder. We don’t want to overwhelm with powder, we just want to set it. We don’t want to initially put powder on because powder will settle between the creases under your eyes. It will also generally fade faster than if you’re doing a primer, a foundation and then a powder.
So, we’re going to use a powder that matches your skin tone pretty well. I like to use pigments from Urban Decay. I have an Urban Decay palette. You can go buy any kind of powder you like, CoverGirl, Revlon, whatever. I use a color called Skimp from Urban Decay. And I just take a contouring brush and just easily pat right under the eye.
This will set my moisturizer, my foundation, it will set everything in and it will stay all day. You can just kind of – I feel like my fingers are the best makeup tool kit.
And that is a quick tutorial on how to use makeup to diminish the look of creases, wrinkles and dark circles under your eyes. I’m going to come back and do a couple of more tutorials on plumping your lips, shaping your eyebrows and widening your eyes and brightening them up.
I hope this has been helpful. This is, of course, just a temporary solution to a problem. I will provide links below this video or somewhere on this video. They will be somewhere, this way, this way, that way, that way. They will be somewhere about more permanent solutions on how to diminish the look of creasing, aging, dark circles, and all of that. So, I’ll provide those links for you.
If you need a list once again, it’s very easy. All you need is the Vaseline or some kind of moisturizer, you’re going to use a foundation, a good foundation, I use Tarte. That is going to cover under your eye and not overwhelm. You will need something that’s going to match your skin tone. The powder you can go a little bit lighter, just to illuminate under your eye and brighten your eye up.
All right, this has been Lorin with ILC Consumer Shopping News. And yeah, thank you so much for listening to me. And I hope this tutorial helps.
